What We’re Doing
A detailed explanation of what exactly we are doing can be found here.
This blog is at its core an exercise in education. We are health care amateurs that want to learn everything we can about our health care system for the purpose of knowledgeable management in the future.
We are developing a virtual health care system that will be the best deliverer of health care services in the world (use your imaginations please.) At times we will look from the “macro” level and write about our system from the perspective of “Our Health Care System in the United States” while during other posts we will look at “micro” level issues (my economics professors would be so proud that I am able to use such grand terminology correctly) and discuss our “County Health Care System.” Along the way, we’ll probably end up exploring various components of a Master in Health Care Administration (and similar degrees) degree program and look at other cool (mostly) health care related items on the web.
But what we’re really about is finding the definition of sustainable health care. We don’t know what it is at this moment, and my hunch is that no one really does (plenty of ideas, though) (but if someone does know, I’d welcome them to contact us for obvious reasons, this country is waiting with baited breath). Maybe, just maybe, some day we will be able to put together all we have explored and discovered at our own system and create a definition and facilitate working solutions.
